Solv Protocol has officially reached out to the individual responsible for a recent exploit that resulted in the loss of approximately $2.7 million in digital assets. In a public appeal, the decentralized finance platform offered a 10% bounty—amounting to roughly $270,000—if the attacker returns the remaining 90% of the stolen funds. The protocol team designated the offer as a ‘white hat’ reward, providing the hacker an opportunity to return the assets without facing legal action. Solv Protocol confirmed they are collaborating with blockchain security firms to monitor the movement of the stolen funds and warned that they will involve law enforcement agencies if the assets are not returned within the specified window. This strategy of offering bounties has become a common tactic in the DeFi space as projects prioritize the recovery of user capital over criminal prosecution.
