deBridge, a high-performance cross-chain interoperability layer, has announced the official launch of its Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementation, designed to empower AI agents to perform cross-chain operations. This new infrastructure allows AI agents to execute non-custodial transactions, such as bridging assets and swapping tokens across different blockchain networks, including Solana and various EVM-compatible chains. By integrating with deBridge’s liquidity and messaging layers, AI models can now interact directly with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols autonomously, while ensuring that users maintain full control over their private keys. This move is expected to accelerate the development of ‘Agentic’ applications, where AI entities can manage cross-chain portfolios, optimize yields, and execute complex financial strategies without manual human intervention for every step of the process.
